What is Reïki?

Reïki is a Japanese word meaning "Universal Life Energy",

the frequency of Love...unconditional Love!

"Reïki" is an ancient laying-on of hands healing art

dating very far back to the almost forgotten civilizations of Mu and Atlantis.

It has been rediscovered in the late 1800's by a Japanese doctor,

Dr. Mikao Usui.

Dr. Usui was initiated to the healing power of Reïki in Egypt and India,

after which he created the "Usui Reïki Ryoko Gakkai" Healing Society

and opened a clinic in Tokyo.

Dr. Usui taught more than 2,000 students,

a few of which became "Shinpiden" (Masters). 

One of them was Dr. Chujiro Hayashi

who, then, created his own Reïki clinic in Tokyo

and taught the Reïki Healing Art to many students,

such as Mrs Hawayo Takata,

from Hawaï.

She finally became a Shinpiden in spite of being a woman

 and brought the Reïki system to the United States.

From there, the Reïki system soon expanded to the five continents.

 Terry Attwood, Geneviève's Reïki Master,

received her attunement directly from Mrs Hawayo Takata,

thus transmitting the Reïki energies in direct line.

Reïki is accessible to whoever expresses the wish to be attuned to the energies

in order to heal herself/ himself,

help others find the healing place within themselves,

bring healing to the animal and floral/ vegetal world

as well as to Mother Earth.

The three attunements are available to you 

when you choose to become a Reïki practitioner:

- The first Degree attunement

for self-treatment as well as treatment of others

-The second Degree attunement

to deepen your connection to the Reïki energies

and learn the Reïki symbols as well as long-distance treatment

- The third Degree attunement or Master Degree

for those of you who feel at one with the philosophy of Reïki 

and wish to teach the healing art of Reïki

as well as be able to give the Reïki attunements
